![]() I was relieved to find out it was a common issue with lots of potential solutions. I have followed several guides and video trying all sorts of different things to get my game to play. I have tried different start up commands through steam, such as fullscreen, window no border. Deleted, turned off, or made sure there are no overlay programs running. Verfied game files, updated directx web installer, downloaded the latest c++ microsoft software, cleared temp files, updated windows, made sure my firewall doesnt block it. I have changed preffered graphics card, updated steam, and probably more I can't think off the top off my head. Finally I tried this solution, getting the D3D12.dll and D3D12Core.dll from my system 32 and all that no success either. I literally do not know what to do next, the game was a gift from my brother who lives far away on base in the hopes we could play together. I just want to play the game, and have been a longtime fan since DS1. I know it's dumb but I am kind of sadened and disheartened by my lack of success on this issue. Please if anyone has any suggestions, concerns, comments let me know. I am going to post this as a seperate post as well so if you see it twice you know why. When you did this fix, did you still just get the wsod? Or did it crash a little further in? i.e.- were you able to get into the games menu and then it crashed? If that is the case, the game defaults to high graphics settings which overloads older graphics cards like mine. After fixing the wsod, I still had to go into game menus and change the graphics settings to medium or low (I did medium), after which It finally worked. Now if that is not your issue at all and you are still crashing after white screen, the only suggestion I have left for you is to try it again and be methodical- take your time and make sure you are following instructions to a T. I suggest this is because with this fix- it is easy to make a mistake and skip even one little detail. ![]() This happened to me because I was reading instructions wrong the first time. So many people I have seen this did it and fixed the issue- that I'm thinking maybe the people having issues maybe skipped a step or renamed the wrong file or whatever. Just consider it- worst result is nothing happens. ![]() ![]() itself.? (Sort of, but not really) Create multiple characters who all farm while you're offline! I certainly did the first couple of tries.WAIT NO DONT CLICK THIS, unless you're looking for a new favorite game to play for 2+ years! IdleOn is a very niche game that only certain people enjoy, but if you're one of them, it WILL become your new favorite game! All I'm saying is that it's easy to make a mistake with this fix. 40, allowing you to create a Noob4Life, your Perma-Beginner character! All the while, Magicat3 has been zapping green mushrooms into oblivion and has reached Lv.Now you want some better equipment, so you create Archie No_Scope, a chopper bowman who farms logs to make some armor for Magicat3 and a new pickaxe for WarriorXD.But he needs a new staff, so you create WarriorXD, a mining warrior who farms ores to make a Copper Staff for Magicat3.Your favorite class are wizards, so you create one and call them Magicat3.IdleOn was created around this idea, and plays like this: When I played MMOs as a kid, I used to think " what if my characters kept grinding overnight while I was sleeping ". ![]()
